Já a Serasa é uma empresa brasileira privada que oferece os mesmos serviços que o SPC para as instituições financeiras, como administradoras de cartões e bancos. Tanto para o SPC quanto para a Serasa o devedor só estará apto a comprar pelo cartão de crédito novamente mediante pagamento da taxa. Fazer uma consulta completa na Serasa ou no SPC não sai de graça. Muitos sites prestam esse serviço na internet, mas todos cobram taxas pela consulta. É muito difícil encontrar algum que faça isso gratuitamente.

Outra alternativa para fazer as consultas é ir até o CDL de sua cidade, onde fica a câmara dos lojistas. Lá, poderá solicitar um extrato baseado no CPF, e caso não esteja devendo para nenhuma empresa/loja/, o crédito não será bloqueado.

Alguns sites até oferecem serviço de consulta gratuita, mas apenas pelo SPC. A diferença entre o SPC e a Serasa é que se a pessoa tiver qualquer dívida com alguma empresa ou loja, o nome vai para o SPC. Já se estiver devendo alguma coisa para o banco ou para os cartões de crédito, vai para o Serasa.

Portanto, mesmo que seja feita a consulta no SPC, o nome ainda pode estar sujo na Serasa, e a pessoa nem vai ficar sabendo se não fizer uma consulta mais completa nos dois. E no Brasil, em particular, esse é um problema muito grave, pois o número de pessoas endividadas no cartão de crédito é muito alto.

Não existem métodos gratuitos para tirar o nome do Serasa. Alguns sites oferecem esse serviço na internet, mas a probabilidade de você estar caindo em um golpe é muito grande. Existem diferente maneiras de se limpar o nome, mas nenhuma envolve esse método. Tome cuidado com isso!

A primeira maneira é pagando a dívida mesmo, que pode ser feita à vista ou em parcelas. Se for pago na hora, o prazo máximo de 5 dias é dado para que seu nome saia completamente do sistema. Em relação ao parcelamento, mesmo que seja contraída uma nova dívida ao se quitar a dívida original, não acarretará nenhum problema de bloqueio ao crédito e seu nome já estará limpo. O segundo método é discutindo a possibilidade de a dívida não ter sido contraída pelo usuário afetado. É uma triste realidade, mas muitas pessoas sofrem golpes e acabam tendo seus nomes bloqueados sem terem feito nada.

Também há a possibilidade de reduzir a dívida através de um acordo judicial, podendo usar como justificativa diferentes razões, como taxas abusivas cobradas pelos bancos.

É importante lembrar também que caso o Serasa não avise com antecedência o usuário que seu nome está indo para a lista, estará infringindo a lei. Pelo Código do Consumidor, é um direito receber aviso prévio.

Também há uma terceira maneira que esperar 5 anos para que a dívida seja cancelada. Isso é lei, e após esse período o nome deve ser automaticamente excluído da lista e qualquer dívida deve ser quitada.

Porém, não é o mais recomendado, pois durante 5 anos o nome estará sujo e o bloqueio ao crédito não será liberado em hipótese alguma. Além disso, é muito fácil a empresa burlar esse sistema alegando que houve renegociação prévia antes do prazo dos 5 anos, dobrando esse tempo, apesar de que são necessários documentos devidamente assinados pelo devedor.

Algumas pessoas não pagam porque realmente não tem condições financeiras, outras porque não querem, mas esperar os 5 anos é a pior opção das três. Tentar negociar a dívida é a melhor saída para ambos os lados
